Reminder history
Every reminder you interact with, and every caregiver alert that is sent or received, is logged so you can go back and review them.
Where to find it
Open Settings > Reminder history. You'll see a list of the last 100 events, most recent first. Each entry shows:
- The title of the reminder or alert
- The body text (what the notification said)
- The type (medication reminder, group reminder, caregiver alert sent, caregiver alert received)
- The exact date and time
What gets logged
- Medication reminders you tapped (Taken, Later, Skip, or Not sure).
- Group reminders the same way.
- Caregiver alerts sent when your phone alerted a paired caregiver.
- Caregiver alerts received when you're the caregiver and an alert came in about someone you're paired with.
What does not get logged
- Reminders that fired but you never tapped — they still show up on your lock screen, but since you didn't interact, they don't get added to the history.
- Refill-reminder notifications.
- Token-refresh or acknowledgement messages between paired devices.
Clearing the history
Tap the trash icon in the top right to clear the entire history. This doesn't affect your dose records or medication list — it only wipes the log of notifications.
Why 100?
The history is capped at 100 entries to keep things manageable. Once it reaches 100, the oldest entry is dropped whenever a new one is added.
Troubleshooting with history
The history is useful when diagnosing problems:
- "My caregiver didn't get an alert." Check your history for Caregiver alert sent. If it's there, the alert went out (see Caregiver is not getting alerts). If not, the condition for the alert didn't trigger.
- "I don't remember seeing that reminder." Check the history — if it's there, the reminder fired and you must have dismissed it.
